Pump.fun Glossary
This Pump.fun glossary defines 28 terms used when launching and trading tokens on Pump.fun and when running a volume bot, from bonding curve and migration to makers, Jito bundles and slippage. Every term has its own link, so a single definition can be shared or cited directly.
Pump.fun launch terms
A token on Pump.fun starts on a bonding curve and moves to a pool once the curve completes. These terms describe that path from launch to migration.
Bonding curve#
The pricing formula a new Pump.fun token trades on before it has a pool. Every buy moves the price up along the curve and every sell moves it down, and the SOL paid in stays in the curve until it completes.
Related:Curve progressMigration
Curve progress#
How far a token has moved through its bonding curve, shown as a percentage on its Pump.fun page. It rises as tokens are bought from the curve and falls when they are sold back to it.
Related:Bonding curve
Migration#
The moment a bonding curve completes and the token's liquidity moves into a pool. From then on the token trades on PumpSwap instead of the curve. Pump.fun also calls this graduating.
PumpSwap#
The exchange run by Pump.fun where tokens trade after migration. Prices there are set by the pool's reserves rather than by the bonding curve.
Related:Migration
Raydium#
A Solana exchange with liquidity pools. Pump.fun tokens that completed their curve before PumpSwap launched were migrated to Raydium pools.
Related:PumpSwap
Mint address#
The on-chain address that identifies a token on Solana. It is what you paste into a volume bot to choose the token, and most tokens created on Pump.fun have one ending in the letters pump.
Market cap#
Token price multiplied by total supply. On Pump.fun it is shown in US dollars and changes with every buy and sell on the curve or in the pool.
King of the hill#
A Pump.fun spotlight given to a token once it reaches a set market cap while still on its bonding curve. The current holder of the title is shown at the top of the Pump.fun home page.

Trading metrics
Pump.fun, DexScreener and Solscan show the same few numbers for every token. These definitions explain what each one counts.
Trading volume#
The total value of the buys and sells on a token over a period, shown in SOL or US dollars. A buy of 1 SOL followed by a sell of 1 SOL adds 2 SOL of volume.
Related:Volume bot
Trade count#
The number of separate buys and sells on a token. DexScreener splits it into buys and sells for each time window, next to volume and makers.
Maker#
A unique wallet that traded a token in a given period. One wallet that trades ten times still counts as one maker, so the maker count shows how many different traders were active.
Related:Holder
Holder#
A wallet that currently holds a balance of the token. The holder count goes up when new wallets buy and down when a wallet sells its whole balance.
Related:Maker
Slippage#
The difference between the price you expect when sending a swap and the price it fills at. A slippage limit cancels the swap if the price moves further than you allowed.
Volume bot terms
These terms describe what a Pump.fun volume bot does and how PumpCrate sells and runs it.
Volume bot#
A tool that places buys and sells on one token from many wallets, so trading volume, trade count and maker count rise on chain. It does not decide price, rankings or who else buys.
Bump bot#
A tool that sends small buys at short intervals so a token keeps reappearing at the top of the Pump.fun feed. It is built for visibility in the feed rather than for traded volume.
Related:Volume bot
Volume package#
Prepaid trading volume credited to a Solana wallet address. With PumpCrate you pay 2 SOL and get 500 SOL of volume, 5 SOL for 1,200 SOL, or 10 SOL for 3,000 SOL, and the bot trades with its own SOL.
Related:Session
Session#
One volume run on one token, started from the PumpCrate panel with its own size, length and engagement settings. A session spends part of the package balance and can be stopped at any time, which returns the volume that has not traded yet.
Related:Session walletVolume package
Session wallet#
A fresh wallet created for one session only. Each session gets its own batch with uneven funding, so no wallet carries over from one token to the next.
Related:Session
Board comment#
A reply posted on a token's page on Pump.fun, under the chart. Comments from different wallets show that the page is active.
Favorite#
Marking a token as a favorite on Pump.fun, which saves it to that account's list of tokens to watch.
Creator follow#
Following the wallet that created a token on Pump.fun. It adds a follower to that creator's profile.
Solana transaction terms
Every trade a volume bot makes is an ordinary Solana transaction. These terms cover how those transactions are sent, paid for and checked.
Jito bundle#
A group of Solana transactions sent together to a Jito block engine. The bundle lands in order in a single block or not at all, and a tip in SOL pays for its inclusion.
Related:Sandwich attack
Priority fee#
An extra fee on a Solana transaction, priced per compute unit, that makes validators more likely to include it quickly when the network is busy.
Sandwich attack#
A pair of trades placed just before and just after someone else's swap to profit from the price move that swap causes. Sending orders through a private relay keeps them out of sight of bots that do this.
Related:Jito bundle
Token account#
The account that holds one wallet's balance of one token on Solana. Opening it takes a small rent deposit in SOL, which comes back when the account is closed.
Transaction signature#
The unique ID of a Solana transaction. Pasting it into Solscan opens the transaction with its accounts, amounts and result.
Related:Solscan
Solscan#
A Solana block explorer. It shows any wallet, token or transaction on chain, which makes it the place to check that a trade or payment really happened.
Related:Transaction signature
DexScreener#
A charting site for exchange pairs that shows price, volume, makers and trade counts for a token once it trades in a pool.
Put the terms to work
PumpCrate sells Pump.fun volume as prepaid packs that you split across any token, and the comparison page sets those packs next to per-maker tools, commission bots and self-hosted scripts.
